The material
behind the finish.
Anodizing grows a protective oxide layer that is part of the aluminium itself. The metal keeps its lightness and gains a surface that lasts.
Light but strong
About a third of the weight of stainless steel.
Corrosion and UV resistant
It does not rust, chip, peel or patina, indoors or outdoors.
Hard-wearing
The oxide layer resists scratches and wear better than bare aluminium.
Colour that stays
Colours sit inside the oxide rather than on top, so they do not fade or flake.
Non-combustible
It does not burn, which suits interiors and public spaces.
Resilient
It flexes under impact loads instead of cracking.
Reflective
Among the most reflective metal surfaces available.
100% recyclable
It can be recycled at the end of its life without losing its properties.
